Artistic Context & Process:
Koucheh Project is a long-term artistic initiative dedicated to researching, preserving, and reinterpreting different eras of Iran’s urban folk and Koocheh-Bazaari musical heritage. This first release marked the beginning of the project and received significant public attention, leading to the development of future chapters exploring other historical periods and regional traditions within Iranian folk music.
